Here I Grow Again at 6 Months =)

   Woohoo! Time really flies so fast as baby Moses' turned 6 months old last 4th of May! Thanks be to God for this milestone and for always blessing our baby with good health.

    Last May 7, just had his monthly check-up together with 3 immunization shots (DTaP, Hepatitis B and Pneumococcal). Of course again, I felt breathless and a bit nervous as I don't want to see him get hurt but as his Dad always tells me, it's for his own good which makes me feel better.

While waiting in line for his immunization, baby was just soundly asleep

while most babies there cried.

   First shot wow no reaction, his Dad and I both smiled. But second there he cried then came third. But glad his elder sister Amber was around, cheered him up that made him smile quickly afterwards. Such a sweet big sister!

   He passed the developmental surveillance test, too! He was able to grasped objects with both hands, maintained standing while being assisted and lastly was able to sit up on his own. "Such a happy baby!", said the Nurse with a smile.

   With his weight, still through exclusive breastfeeding was able to gain weight. Last time, he was weighing 7.3 kilograms and now he weighs 8 kilograms. I feel so fulfilled being a Mom and also feel blessed with abundant breast milk to be able to exclusively breastfeed him. Thanks be to God!

   Baby had also started eating basic baby food the day he turned 6 months. He was enjoying it, loves it and was really having fun. You'll see the excitement in his eyes! He was grabbing the bowl and spoon! Haha!

   His elder sister Amber was also excited to see him eat baby foods so requested on the second day that she'll be the one to feed him. That day was such a sweet moment and it really gave a smile on my face!

"Taste it, it's yummy!"

"Mmmmmmmm...."

"I love it!"

   Evening of May 6, on our surprise, baby started saying "Daddy" while his Dad was talking to him over the phone. It was not Dada as most babies first learned it that way, his' was really "Daddy!" So at an early stage, baby Moses not only knows how to say "Mama" (this which he learned much earlier), now his Dad was so happy and glad that he can already say "Daddy", too.

   Morning of May 7, he just also started sitting up on his own while in bed, just right in time for the Developmetal Surveillance Test. So it was just like he practiced sitting up on his own before we attended the monthly check-up. =)

   I thank God for blessing me with such a happy and healthy baby same with a sweet loving daughter Amber. I really do love being their Mom and will forever be. Thanks be to God!
