Look Who's Talking! :)

It's been a while since I last updated this blog. Here's a new post for everyone, just love to share what my little fella has been doing lately. Someday when my son can already read, I would like him to visit this blog and together we will reminisce those days when he was still a baby. I also want to remember every moment of my son's growing-up stage that's why I made this blog.
I love your smile! :)

Time flies, babies grew up so fast! My little boy, Moses, just turned 30 months old last 4th of May! He never fails to amuse us everyday. He is the darling of the family. For me, he's well-advanced his age. He always have the eagerness to learn everyday.

Look how tall I am now! <3

For this milestone, I would love to focus on his speech and language development. I just can't help myself not to share it with everyone. I am just very proud of my son!

Hello there! =D

I love it every morning when he sees you still sleeping or when you are pretending to be asleep, he will say "Wake up! wake up Mommy!" while patting you on your shoulder. He will wake up his big sister saying "Open eyes, open eyes, wake up!" He will greet you back "Good morning!" and will even say "Good night!" in the evening before he sleeps.

He is that little boy who can easily express himself when he wants something.

He will say "eat rice" or "I'm hungry" when he wants to eat or "drink water" or "give me juice" when he is thirsty. He will say "poopoo" when he poops and even brings to you the diaper pack! :) And when he's sleepy, he will not just sleep right away but rather will even tell you "I'm sleepy..."

Loves to eat on his own (Taken last winter of early January)

His favorite food are fruits and vegetables! At a very young age, he's already familiarized with the different names of it may it be persimmon, kiwi, watermelon, turnip, beets, mangoes, and a lot, lot more!

I love mangoes!

Tomatoes are also one of his favorites! :)

At home, when you ask him to get something, he will surely ask you first "this one?" and most of the time when he wants to go somewhere else, like going to the playground, he will tell you "Slide! I'll go there!" or "swim, swim!" when he wants to go to the pool. If he suddenly hears something unusual, he will look at you and will ask "what's that?" with wonder! :)

I know that not all kids like his age can already communicate or can say words clearly or use some sentences already when they talk. I am so happy and thankful that my little one can already express his feelings and thoughts in his own little way.

Took a selfie of himself here! =)

He is a fast learner! I remember at the age of 18 months old, he can already say the alphabet fully and can even say a word that starts with every letter. He can grasp words easily at a rapid pace. He loves to watch cartoons that teaches learning activities. Every time he wakes up when he turns on the TV, he will always ask you to play his favorite shows. He knows them all, may it be "Peppa Pig", "Dora", "Barney", "ABC" which is how he calls the show Word World :D, "Elmo" and "My Little Pony".

Happy to have his Peppa Pig family around! =)

It was really such fun looking at him while watching his favorite shows as you will always see and hear him participating with the learning activities like when Dora ask a question, he gives an answer and even joins his favorite cartoon characters singing. He loves to dance and sing with them! I find it cute when he mimics some lines of his favorite characters.

Every time we go out of the house to bring his big sister to school, he will always ask "where's the key?" so I am always reminded with that! Same with his carrier, when I forgot to bring it with me, he will ask for it and will say "where's the carrier?" :) Once outside the house, there's always excitement on his face. He will point at those things he sees around and always, has a word to say about it like "broccoli" which he calls those giant trees ^_^ the birds, the clouds, the mountain, the cars and buses, even the McDonald's and Pizza Hut he knows them! He will say "pizza!", "icecream", "fries", "juice", "apple pie", "happy burger" in which how he calls a hamburger, and some more...

The little boy who loved birds... :)

Added, Moses' fondness for books, had also helped in developing his mental skills, as well as from watching different learning activities. I would also like to add that the use of iPad somewhat taught him on how to explore the different learning apps like counting, listening with phonics and stories, as well as learning how to write ABC's and numbers, and also by watching his favorite learning shows on YouTube. These are a great resources which had helped boosts his mental development as well as his social, physical and emotional ones.

Seriously busy with his books :)

Loves using his iPad!

Playing also had served an important role in his learning stage, it helped him in developing his physical skills, self esteem and confidence.

His favorite toy spot every time he visits Toys R Us :)

And by the way, did you know that this little boy of mine loves to say "please"? Everytime he wants something for himself, he would always say "please". That's what I love most about him! And at a very young age, he knows how to say "sorry", too. The first time I heard him saying this was when he was around 20 months old. Aside from that, everytime he sees wonderful things, he would surely say "Oh, so nice!", he is very appreciative.

Also, Moses is blessed to have a big sister around him who is very supportive in teaching him. Just like his big sister Amber, Moses loves music. His big sister had taught him how to dance and sing! At home, they enjoy each other's company. :) Most of the time, when his big sister is doing her homework, Moses is there with her. He enjoys it a lot when his big sister teaches him how to read and write. They love each other very much.

Bonding time! <3

At present, he is already practising how to write numbers and letters and he's always having fun doing it! It is also a preparation for him when he enters kindergarten this coming September.

His cute school ID photo :)

Lastly, I will say that breastfeeding had played a major part in his overall development. I will always be thankful that I was given the chance to be able to breastfeed him as I have read that breastfeeding makes babies more smarter compared to those who were not. Children who are breastfed are more happier, healthier and smarter.

This little boy of mine... Such a cutie! :)

Thanks be to God that until now he's still on breastfeeding and I have read that it's best up to 3 years of age or it depends as long as both of you mutually agree with it. God willing, for as long as I can, I will, so he can still get that precious nutrients from there.

With my little Darling! <3

With every step along the way, I am just always here to guide him. With the help of God, together, as he grows, we will be exploring the wonderful world of learning in a fun, and interesting way!
